Established in May 1982 by Chris Davies, Hendra Hardware in Brisbane has been through many changes. From its original one-third of its current size, the opening and closing of its sister store in Racecourse Rd Hamilton, the SEQEB power dispute in 1985, the relocation of the horse stables, the outbreak of the Hendra virus in 1994, not to mention the hail storms and floods, Hendra Hardware has survived. With the support from its loyal customers, this iconic store is here to stay for many more years to come.

Three decades in Hendra Hardware could almost feel like a lifetime, and both the Davies and the Pinkey family have experienced it all. In 2010 when Chris decided to sell the business to Matthew Pinkey, it was the beginning of a new era. With the help of Dean Cuss who has been part of the furniture and Chris’s right-hand man for many years, Hendra Hardware will continue to provide a unique service for professional tradesman and DIY enthusiasts across Brisbane and its northern suburbs.

The staff at Hendra Hardware has expert product knowledge, which ensures you will find the right product for the job, together with friendly advice whether it is matching the right paint, fixing a cavity in a wall, a specialist primer, or simply choosing the right lawnmower, excellent service is received by every customer.
